The Chief Communications Officer (CCO) will lead global communications strategy, responsible for shaping and protecting the organization’s reputation, driving executive messaging, and aligning all internal and external communication efforts with corporate strategy. This role is central to ensuring that the company’s vision, values, and market positioning are clearly articulated and consistently delivered worldwide.

This is a highly strategic executive leadership role requiring deep expertise in global communications strategy, corporate reputation management, crisis communications, executive branding, and stakeholder engagement at scale.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead global corporate communications strategy across all internal and external channels.
  • Develop and execute executive messaging, corporate narrative, and brand positioning frameworks.
  • Oversee public relations, media relations, and global press engagement strategy.
  • Manage corporate reputation and lead crisis communications and risk response strategy.
  • Drive internal communications to ensure alignment, transparency, and employee engagement globally.
  • Build and manage relationships with global media outlets, analysts, and industry influencers.
  • Lead executive thought leadership programs for the CEO and the senior leadership team.
  • Oversee investor communications in partnership with finance and investor relations teams.
  • Implement data-driven communication strategies using reputation monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all markets, regions, and business units.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 15–25+ years of experience in senior communications, PR, or corporate affairs leadership roles.
  • Proven experience serving as Chief Communications Officer or equivalent senior executive role.
  • Strong background in global enterprise communications or multinational organizations.
  • Experience managing crisis communications and high-stakes reputational issues.
  • Deep understanding of media relations, investor communications, and executive branding.
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, consulting, or global enterprise sectors preferred.

  • Align communications strategy with corporate strategy, investor relations, and market expansion goals.

Working Conditions

  • Compensation Package: $424,000 – $540,000 base + executive bonus + long-term incentives
