We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) who brings deep technical judgment, strong operational discipline, and the ability to translate complex technology strategies into clear business value. This leader will oversee enterprise systems, cloud modernisation, cybersecurity posture, data strategy, and digital innovation within a multi-business-unit framework with high regulatory oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business, financial, and regulatory priorities.
  • Oversee core IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud systems, cybersecurity, networks, and mission-critical applications.
  • Direct multi-year digital transformation initiatives focused on automation, scalability, data modernisation, and operational resilience.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity governance, identity management, risk mitigation, incident response, and compliance with industry frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Drive cloud migration, modernisation of legacy systems, and adoption of AI-powered tools to elevate efficiency and performance.
  • Oversee vendor management, enterprise procurement, and multimillion-dollar technology budgets with strong ROI discipline.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to influence enterprise-level decision-making.
  • Establish enterprise data frameworks, analytics maturity, and data governance practices that support real-time insight generation.
  • Champion technology excellence through process improvement, system reliability, performance monitoring, and service-level commitments.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing IT leadership teams across infrastructure, security, engineering, and enterprise systems.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership in Technology, IT Operations, Engineering, or Enterprise Architecture.
  • 6+ years in executive leadership roles (CIO, VP Technology, VP Infrastructure, CTO-adjacent).
  • Proven success leading large-scale digital transformation, cloud modernisation, and executive-level technology governance.
  • Strong command of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and data protection.
  • Expertise with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern infrastructure, and distributed systems.
  • Experience overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, vendor negotiations, and global IT operations.
  • Ability to translate technical strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence C-suite, board members, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s or MBA highly preferred.

  • Inform corporate strategy through data, industry insights, and emerging technology trends.
  • Enable scalability across all business units through modernised systems and intelligent automation.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Range: $235,000 – $370,000 USD
(Combination of base salary + bonus + long-term incentives)
