Chief Information & Transformation Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and strategically driven Chief Information & Transformation Officer (CITO) to lead enterprise-wide digital transformation and information strategy for a global financial services organization undergoing large-scale modernization across its technology infrastructure, data platforms, and operational systems. This executive leadership role will be responsible for integrating enterprise information systems with transformative digital initiatives that reshape how the organization operates, delivers financial services, and engages with customers in an increasingly digital financial ecosystem.

The Chief Information & Transformation Officer will serve as a critical member of the executive leadership team, responsible for aligning the organization’s information technology capabilities with its long-term strategic transformation agenda. As financial institutions face significant disruption driven by fintech innovation, digital banking platforms, and rapidly evolving regulatory environments, the CITO will lead the initiatives that enable the organization to modernize legacy infrastructure while building scalable, cloud-based technology ecosystems that support future growth.

This role will oversee the integration of enterprise information technology with large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple business units. The CITO will guide programs focused on cloud migration, data platform modernization, digital customer experience transformation, automation of internal processes, and the adoption of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation systems.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, and other senior executives, the CITO will ensure that technology investments and transformation initiatives support the organization’s broader strategic objectives. The role will also oversee enterprise data governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and technology infrastructure modernization programs designed to enhance operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

The Chief Information & Transformation Officer will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure, digital product platforms, enterprise data systems, and transformation program management. These teams will work together to redesign operational processes, modernize customer-facing technology platforms, and build digital capabilities that improve efficiency, customer engagement, and business agility.

In addition to overseeing internal transformation initiatives, the CITO will collaborate with external technology partners, fintech innovators, and strategic consultants to implement cutting-edge solutions that accelerate the organization’s digital evolution. This role requires a leader capable of navigating complex organizational environments while guiding large-scale change initiatives that impact both technology systems and business operations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience leading digital transformation initiatives within large financial institutions, technology-driven enterprises, or global consulting environments. This individual must possess deep expertise in enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation, and large-scale organizational change management.

Ultimately, the Chief Information & Transformation Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the organization successfully transitions into a modern digital enterprise capable of delivering secure, innovative, and customer-centric financial services in the digital age.
