Job Function

The Chief Talent Officer will design and execute a comprehensive global talent strategy spanning executive recruitment, advanced technical hiring, leadership development, workforce planning, succession strategy, organizational design, and culture transformation.

This executive will oversee talent acquisition, talent intelligence, workforce analytics, executive development, performance architecture, and global mobility, ensuring the organization maintains a decisive advantage in elite technology talent markets.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a global talent strategy aligned with AI and quantum infrastructure expansion
  • Lead enterprise-wide workforce planning for highly specialized technical roles
  • Oversee executive search and succession planning across global leadership teams
  • Build advanced talent intelligence frameworks leveraging workforce analytics and predictive modeling
  • Architect high-impact leadership development and executive acceleration programs
  • Design a scalable global recruiting infrastructure for high-volume, high-complexity hiring
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within global engineering ecosystems
  • Oversee performance management modernization aligned with innovation velocity
  • Establish competitive global compensation and equity frameworks for top-tier technical talent
  • Guide employer brand strategy within elite AI and quantum research communities
  • Lead post-acquisition talent integration strategies
  • Partner with Engineering and Research leadership to anticipate future skill requirements

Strategic Support

  • Advise CEO and Board on talent risk exposure and leadership bench strength
  • Align workforce capabilities with long-term R&D and commercialization roadmap
  • Support global expansion into emerging research hubs and innovation clusters
  • Contribute to capital planning related to workforce growth
  • Guide cultural transformation during rapid scaling phases
  • Develop global mobility and cross-border talent deployment strategy

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive executive talent leadership experience
  • 8+ years in global technology, AI, advanced research, or high-growth innovation sectors
  • Proven track record building global technical recruitment and leadership development programs
  • Experience managing workforce strategies in highly competitive technical labor markets
  • Demonstrated success leading large, globally distributed HR and talent organizations
  • Strong understanding of compensation design for executive and technical talent
  • Experience advising Board-level stakeholders on succession and organizational health
  • Background in public company or IPO-stage organization preferred
  • Advanced degree in Human Capital, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $325,000 – $435,000 USD
