The Data Scientist – AI/ML Expert plays a critical role at the intersection of data science, engineering, and business strategy. This position is designed for an experienced practitioner who can design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into meaningful outcomes.

This is not a support role; this is a hands-on, high-impact position where AI solutions are expected to scale, perform in production, and drive measurable business value across products, platforms, and internal systems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models for real-world enterprise applications.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Build and optimize predictive, classification, and recommendation models using modern ML techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models and integrate them into scalable systems.
  • Conduct feature engineering, model tuning, validation, and performance monitoring.
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning methods to solve complex business problems.
  • Develop experimentation frameworks and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and distributed computing environments.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, model deployment, and ML lifecycle management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
