Corporate Development is a core strategic engine within the organization, responsible for shaping long-term growth, strengthening competitive advantage, and accelerating enterprise transformation. The Director of Corporate Development plays a critical leadership role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities that expand market presence, enhance capabilities, and deliver sustained value.

This role operates at the intersection of strategy, finance, operations, product, and executive leadership. The Director will lead complex initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and inorganic growth strategies while supporting enterprise-wide planning and investment decisions.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of strong financial discipline, strategic insight, and operational pragmatism capable of navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating analysis into decisive action. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnership initiatives.
  • Develop and refine corporate development strategy aligned with long-term business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis, target identification, competitive assessments, and strategic fit evaluations.
  • Own financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment rationale for proposed transactions.
  • Manage end-to-end deal processes, including due diligence, negotiation, governance approvals, and integration planning.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Strategy, Legal, Operations, Product, and Technology leaders throughout transaction lifecycles.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, recommendations, and decision materials.
  • Support post-transaction integration efforts to ensure value realization and operational alignment.
  • Establish repeatable frameworks and best practices for corporate development initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to inform growth strategy.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Private Equity, or Strategic Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience executing or supporting M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience within technology, SaaS, digital platforms, or innovation-driven industries strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level polish.
