We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Digital Transformation to lead large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives and help organizations successfully transition into digitally enabled operating models.

This is not a traditional IT leadership role. This is a strategic transformation leadership position responsible for driving enterprise-wide modernization programs and operational innovation.


Job Function

The Director of Digital Transformation will lead enterprise modernization initiatives, including cloud migration programs, AI integration, digital operating model redesign, and large-scale technology transformation projects.

This executive ensures that digital initiatives generate measurable improvements in operational efficiency, customer experience, and long-term business performance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives across technology, operations, and customer experience platforms.
  • Design and implement modernization roadmaps for cloud infrastructure, AI-driven analytics, and digital workflow automation.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify strategic opportunities for digital innovation and operational improvement.
  • Oversee large-scale transformation programs including ERP modernization, enterprise data platform deployment, and automation initiatives.
  • Develop governance frameworks ensuring transformation initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
  • Implement KPI dashboards measuring transformation ROI, operational performance improvements, and digital adoption metrics.
  • Guide the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across IT, operations, product development, and customer experience functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process automation and digital workflow optimization.
  • Support enterprise cybersecurity modernization and digital risk management initiatives.
  • Manage transformation program budgets, timelines, and performance outcomes.
  • Present digital transformation progress and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and Board stakeholders.
  • Build and mentor high-performing digital transformation teams and program leaders.

Strategic Support

  • Advise Chief Digital Officer and executive leadership on long-term enterprise modernization strategy.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions through digital systems integration and technology platform alignment.
  • Guide organizational change management initiatives supporting digital adoption across business units.
  • Align transformation initiatives with long-term corporate growth strategies and operational scalability.
  • Contribute to enterprise innovation strategy by identifying emerging digital technology opportunities.
  • Strengthen digital governance frameworks supporting enterprise technology modernization.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy, or business modernization initiatives.
  • 7+ years within technology consulting, enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or AI-driven digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs across complex organizations.
  • Strong expertise in cloud computing, enterprise software modernization, AI adoption, and digital operating models.
  • Experience implementing enterprise technology platforms such as ERP, CRM, data analytics infrastructure, and automation systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex transformation programs.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $300,000 – $425,000 USD
