The Director of Diversity & Inclusion will guide the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of initiatives that help strengthen a fair, inclusive, and supportive workplace. This role ensures that DEI efforts are aligned with organisational priorities and embedded into everyday operations, leadership practices, and culture-building activities.

This is a senior leadership position focused on long-term planning, collaboration, and practical initiatives that support an inclusive employee experience across the organisation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organisation’s DEI framework, including short- and long-term strategic plans.
  • Partner with HR, Talent, Operations, and Leadership to integrate inclusive practices into workforce programmes.
  • Lead DEI initiatives, including training, awareness sessions, onboarding enhancements, and resource development.
  • Monitor progress using clear metrics, reporting tools, and feedback processes to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Support recruitment teams in applying inclusive hiring practices and broadening candidate outreach channels.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to design training, leadership workshops, and pathway programmes.
  • Provide guidance on workplace accessibility, cultural awareness, and inclusive communication.
  • Maintain open channels for employee feedback, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for dialogue.
  • Review policies and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with DEI goals.
  • Represent DEI priorities in planning discussions and enterprise initiatives.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion, HR, Talent Management, Organisational Development, or related fields.
  • Experience guiding DEI programmes within medium to large organisations.
  • Strong understanding of inclusion practices, cultural development, and workforce engagement.
  • Ability to work with data, reporting tools, and feedback methods to measure programme outcomes.
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or related field required.
  • Advanced education or certifications in DEI, HR, or Leadership Development are beneficial.

Strategic Support

  • Advise senior leaders on culture-building, workforce inclusion, and organisational improvement.
  • Participate in planning sessions, contributing DEI perspectives to operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support long-term organisational initiatives that strengthen engagement, talent development, and employee wellbeing.
  • Work closely with HR, Learning & Development, and Leadership on programme alignment and communication.

Working Conditions

  • Fully remote role, with occasional travel for planning sessions, team meetings, or workshops when required.
  • Collaboration across different teams and time zones may be necessary.
  • The role involves interaction with various employee groups, leadership teams, and cross-functional partners.

Job Function

  • Lead DEI planning, development, and execution across the organisation.
  • Support training, cultural initiatives, policy reviews, and workforce engagement programmes.
  • Work closely with leaders and teams to ensure DEI goals are understood and implemented effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $170,000 – $220,000
  • Annual performance-based bonus eligibility
