The Director of Innovations will catalyze enterprise-wide innovation, responsible for identifying disruptive opportunities, accelerating experimentation, and translating bold ideas into scalable business impact. This role bridges strategy, technology, and execution—partnering with senior leadership to ensure innovation is disciplined, measurable, and aligned with long-term growth objectives.
This position offers visibility, influence, and the mandate to challenge assumptions while building repeatable innovation engines across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Innovation Strategy & Roadmap: Define and lead the enterprise innovation strategy, aligning emerging technologies and new concepts with business priorities.
- Opportunity Identification: Scout trends, technologies, startups, and market shifts to identify high-potential innovation opportunities.
- Experimentation & Incubation: Design and manage pilots, proofs of concept, and incubation programs from ideation through validation.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Commercial teams to move innovations toward scale.
- Innovation Governance: Establish frameworks for prioritization, funding, stage-gating, and measurement of innovation initiatives.
- Portfolio Management: Manage an innovation portfolio balancing near-term wins with long-term transformative bets.
- External Ecosystem Engagement: Build relationships with universities, startups, accelerators, and technology partners.
- Executive Communication: Present innovation insights, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership and strategy forums.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in innovation, digital transformation, strategy, or advanced product development roles.
- Proven track record of driving innovation initiatives within technology-led or large enterprise environments.
- Experience working with emerging technologies such as AI, automation, data platforms, or cloud ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of design thinking, agile experimentation, and lean innovation methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in influencing without authority and leading initiatives across complex organizations.

- Enable a culture of experimentation and learning across business units.
- Translate innovation outcomes into measurable business value.
Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $204,000 – $309,000
- Performance Bonus: Annual incentive tied to innovation outcomes and strategic impact
