The Director of Learning & Development will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the organization’s global learning strategy and driving large-scale workforce transformation. This individual will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of learning programs, leadership pipelines, and capability-building initiatives that directly impact business outcomes.
This role requires a visionary leader who can integrate learning science, technology, and business strategy to build a culture of continuous development. You will partner closely with executive leadership, HR teams, and business units to ensure that learning initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, talent needs, and future skill requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global Learning & Development strategy aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Design and implement leadership development programs, succession planning frameworks, and executive training initiatives.
- Oversee development of technical, functional, and soft-skill training programs across the organization.
- Leverage digital learning platforms, including AI-driven and adaptive learning technologies, to scale capability building.
- Establish frameworks for skills assessment, competency mapping, and workforce capability analysis.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives through KPIs, ROI analysis, and performance outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers, consultants, and educational partners.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12–15+ years of experience in learning & development, talent management, or organizational development leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise-level L&D programs and leadership initiatives.
- Strong understanding of learning technologies, LMS platforms, and digital learning ecosystems.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or global enterprise environments preferred.
- Knowledge of learning science, adult education principles, and instructional design methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and business impact.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Package: $320,000 – $440,000 base + performance bonus + long-term equity incentives
