Industry: Enterprise SaaS, AI-Enabled Technology, Digital Operations, Cloud Platforms, Business Transformation, and Operational Excellence
Location: USA Remote
Compensation Package: $319K – $415K
We are a large, enterprise-scale SaaS, AI-enabled technology, cloud platform, digital operations, business transformation, and operational excellence organization supporting complex commercial, product, technology, customer, finance, and enterprise operations across the United States. The company operates in a fast-moving environment where strategic operations directly influence business execution, growth readiness, cross-functional alignment, productivity, operating discipline, customer outcomes, and long-term enterprise scalability.
This is not a traditional operations role focused only on administrative coordination, reporting routines, or task follow-up. Strategic Operations is a high-impact business function that helps leadership convert company priorities into clear operating plans, measurable programs, stronger processes, cross-functional execution rhythms, and practical decision support. The function sits close to executive leadership and works across teams that drive revenue, product delivery, customer experience, technology performance, finance planning, people operations, data visibility, and transformation initiatives.
The company is continuing to invest in enterprise operating model maturity, AI-enabled workflow automation, performance dashboards, business process improvement, strategic planning routines, customer delivery optimization, resource planning, cross-functional governance, executive reporting, and scalable operating systems. As the organization grows, leadership is seeking a Director of Strategic Operations who can bring strong analytical thinking, business judgment, operational structure, and executive-level communication to a broad and visible role.
The Director of Strategic Operations will lead strategic planning support, operating cadence management, process improvement, business performance tracking, cross-functional initiative execution, executive reporting, and operational governance. This leader will work closely with the COO, CEO, Finance, Product, Technology, Revenue, Customer Success, People, Legal, Data Analytics, Program Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure major priorities are clearly defined, properly measured, and effectively executed.
This role requires someone who can operate between strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will understand how to diagnose operational friction, turn business goals into practical workstreams, build accountability mechanisms, improve communication between departments, prepare leadership-ready insights, and help teams make better decisions. This person should be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, incomplete information, shifting priorities, and initiatives that require influence across multiple functions.
The selected candidate will help strengthen the company’s operating system by improving how priorities are set, how decisions are made, how performance is measured, how risks are escalated, and how cross-functional teams execute important work. This is a strong opportunity for an operations leader who wants to shape the way a large technology-driven organization runs, scales, and delivers measurable business impact.
• Lead strategic operations initiatives that improve company execution, operating discipline, performance visibility, cross-functional coordination, and business scalability.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into operating plans, workstreams, milestones, ownership models, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Build and manage operating cadences, including leadership reviews, business performance meetings, planning routines, initiative updates, risk reviews, and executive decision forums.
• Support annual and quarterly planning by coordinating goals, dependencies, resource assumptions, financial inputs, operational priorities, and progress tracking.
• Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, briefing materials, performance summaries, decision memos, and business review content.
• Analyze operational performance across key business functions to identify trends, gaps, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

• Create governance frameworks for priority initiatives, including decision rights, escalation paths, stakeholder communication, KPI tracking, and risk management.
• Identify operational risks, execution gaps, dependency issues, and business blockers, then recommend practical solutions to leadership.
• Support leadership with scenario planning, business case development, operational analysis, change readiness, and strategic decision support.
• Build and improve tools, templates, playbooks, reporting standards, documentation practices, and operating routines that help the company scale with discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Strategy, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required.

• Experience within enterprise SaaS, AI-enabled technology, cloud platforms, fintech, cybersecurity, digital products, consulting, business services, or large distributed enterprise environments strongly preferred.
• Proven success improving operating processes, leading cross-functional initiatives, building executive reporting, managing planning rhythms, and supporting enterprise decision-making.
• Strong understanding of operating models, performance management, KPI frameworks, business planning, process improvement, change management, and cross-functional execution.

• Strong executive presence with the confidence to work with senior leaders, challenge assumptions respectfully, and present recommendations with clarity.
• Execution-focused and highly accountable, with strong follow-through across initiatives, deadlines, dependencies, and stakeholder commitments.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, especially when priorities are evolving, information is incomplete, or multiple functions need alignment.
• Collaborative and able to influence Product, Technology, Revenue, Finance, Customer Success, People, Legal, Data Analytics, and Executive Leadership without relying only on authority.
• Process-oriented but practical, with the ability to improve operating discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Data-informed and outcome-focused, with the ability to use metrics, trends, risks, and business context to guide decisions.
• High integrity and discretion when handling financial information, strategic plans, employee data, customer issues, executive materials, and confidential business priorities.
