About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Director of Sustainability to lead enterprise-wide sustainability strategy for a global renewable energy infrastructure and climate technology organization committed to accelerating the transition toward a low-carbon economy. This leadership role will be responsible for shaping the organization’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework while ensuring sustainability principles are embedded across business operations, infrastructure investments, and long-term corporate strategy.

The Director of Sustainability will play a central role in guiding how the organization integrates environmental stewardship, responsible resource management, and climate innovation into every aspect of its operations. As global industries increasingly adopt ambitious decarbonization targets and governments implement new environmental regulations, the organization is expanding its sustainability initiatives to ensure long-term resilience, regulatory alignment, and measurable climate impact.

This role will oversee the development and implementation of enterprise sustainability programs that support renewable energy adoption, carbon reduction initiatives, circular economy frameworks, and sustainable supply chain practices. The Director will collaborate with executive leadership, engineering teams, infrastructure development leaders, and global partners to ensure sustainability initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic investment priorities and operational objectives.

In addition to overseeing environmental programs, the Director of Sustainability will guide ESG governance frameworks and corporate sustainability reporting initiatives that meet international reporting standards and stakeholder expectations. This includes ensuring transparency in environmental performance metrics, strengthening ESG disclosure practices, and maintaining compliance with evolving global sustainability regulations.

The Director will also lead initiatives that evaluate the environmental impact of infrastructure development projects, renewable energy deployments, and operational processes across global facilities. Through the use of advanced environmental analytics and sustainability performance metrics, this role will help the organization measure its environmental footprint and identify opportunities for improvement.

This role requires a strategic leader capable of balancing environmental responsibility with business performance while driving sustainability innovation across large-scale infrastructure and technology ecosystems. The Director will also engage with external stakeholders, including environmental organizations, industry coalitions, government agencies, and sustainability research institutions.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in sustainability leadership, environmental policy, and ESG strategy within industries such as renewable energy, climate technology, infrastructure development, or global manufacturing. This individual must possess strong leadership capabilities and a deep commitment to environmental innovation and responsible corporate governance.

Ultimately, the Director of Sustainability will play a transformative role in shaping the organization’s environmental impact while supporting the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions that contribute to global climate goals.
