As we continue to expand globally, we are strengthening our Global Vendor Management & Strategic Procurement Division to improve supplier performance, optimize cost structures, strengthen compliance frameworks, and enhance third-party risk governance.

The Director of Vendor Management will serve as a senior leader responsible for overseeing global vendor strategy, supplier governance, contract optimization, procurement performance, and enterprise-wide third-party relationship management across all business units.

This role requires a highly experienced procurement and vendor management leader with deep expertise in enterprise sourcing, strategic supplier negotiation, contract lifecycle management, global procurement operations, and third-party risk governance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global Vendor Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and execute an enterprise-wide vendor management strategy aligned with organizational procurement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency goals.
  • Establish global vendor governance frameworks ensuring compliance, performance consistency, and strategic alignment across all supplier relationships.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across key categories, including technology, infrastructure, services, and operational procurement.
  • Design vendor segmentation models to optimize strategic partnerships and supplier portfolio performance.

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

  • Oversee global supplier performance management programs, including KPIs, SLAs, and operational scorecards.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic vendors and enterprise partners.
  • Conduct regular supplier business reviews and performance optimization sessions.
  • Ensure supplier accountability and alignment with enterprise standards and contractual obligations.

Contract Lifecycle & Negotiation Management

  • Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including sourcing, negotiation, execution, and renewal processes.
  • Drive cost optimization through strategic negotiations and long-term supplier agreements.
  • Ensure contract compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams on contract structuring and risk mitigation strategies.

Procurement Optimization & Cost Efficiency

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across the global vendor portfolio and procurement categories.
  • Implement procurement optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce enterprise spend.
  • Leverage data analytics to evaluate supplier pricing models and market competitiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and vendor lifecycle management.

Third-Party Risk Management

  • Establish and manage third-party risk assessment frameworks across global suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to mitigate vendor-related risks.
  • Monitor geopolitical, financial, and operational risks associated with global suppliers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, Security, and Technology teams to align vendor strategy with business needs.
  • Support enterprise transformation initiatives through optimized supplier ecosystems.
  • Provide executive reporting on vendor performance, risk exposure, and cost optimization outcomes.
  • Lead global procurement transformation initiatives and digital vendor management systems.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced procurement/supply chain certification strongly preferred.
  • 12–18+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing global supplier ecosystems in enterprise technology, manufacturing, logistics, or professional services industries.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation, supplier governance, and procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms, and vendor management tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of third-party risk management and compliance frameworks.
