We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Head of Finance to lead enterprise financial operations, performance governance, and growth-aligned capital planning across global business units.
This is not a controller-level position. This is a global financial leadership mandate within a capital-intensive industry.
Job Function
The Head of Finance will oversee global financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business unit finance leadership, cost governance, capital expenditure oversight, and financial performance optimization across manufacturing, R&D, and commercial operations.
The role requires a strong strategic partnership with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial leadership to ensure scalable, sustainable financial growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead global financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles
- Oversee financial performance management across manufacturing and R&D operations
- Develop multi-year financial models aligned with EV production scale-up
- Guide capital allocation decisions across battery plants and production facilities
- Monitor cost structures and margin optimization initiatives
- Oversee regional finance leaders across North America, EMEA, and APAC
- Develop advanced financial analytics supporting pricing and product strategy
- Strengthen working capital management and liquidity planning
- Support capital raising initiatives and investor reporting
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations on cost containment strategies
- Lead financial risk assessment and scenario planning exercises
- Ensure compliance with global financial reporting standards
- Present performance insights and financial strategy updates to executive leadership
Strategic Support
- Advise the CFO and CEO on enterprise valuation and capital structure strategy
- Support expansion into emerging EV markets
- Contribute to M&A financial due diligence and integration planning
- Align financial strategy with long-term innovation investment priorities
- Strengthen ESG-aligned financial reporting initiatives
- Guide digital finance transformation initiatives, including automation and AI integration
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- 8+ years within manufacturing, automotive, technology, or capital-intensive industries
- Proven track record overseeing multi-billion-dollar financial operations
- Strong expertise in capital expenditure modeling and cost optimization
- Experience supporting rapid-growth, scaling enterprises
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capability
- Experience managing multi-region finance teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA preferred
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Total Executive Compensation Package: $290,000 – $395,000 USD
