Information integrity, latency optimization, data governance, and regulatory-grade reporting are foundational to market stability and institutional trust. As global capital markets evolve through AI-driven trading, distributed ledger systems, and cross-border regulatory convergence, we are seeking a visionary Head of Information to lead enterprise-wide information strategy, governance, and market data innovation.
This is not a records management role. This is a global information architecture and governance mandate.
Job Function
The Head of Information will define and execute the enterprise information strategy, overseeing data governance, market data architecture, regulatory information compliance, enterprise knowledge systems, and digital information security alignment.
This executive will ensure that information assets from real-time trading feeds to regulatory disclosures are accurate, secure, accessible, and strategically leveraged for competitive advantage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global enterprise information strategy across all business units
- Oversee real-time market data governance, validation, and distribution frameworks
- Establish data integrity standards for high-frequency trading environments
- Lead regulatory reporting information compliance across multi-jurisdiction markets
- Architect enterprise knowledge management systems supporting operational excellence
- Guide metadata management, data lineage, and master data governance programs
- Oversee integration of AI-driven analytics into market intelligence workflows
- Align information governance with cybersecurity and risk management functions
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy and financial regulatory standards
- Lead enterprise-wide data quality monitoring and performance reporting
- Manage cross-border information flows in accordance with international regulations
- Build and lead global information governance teams
- Present enterprise information risk and strategy updates to executive leadership and the Board
Strategic Support
- Advise the CEO and Board on information risk exposure and market integrity posture
- Support expansion into emerging digital asset and cross-border trading markets
- Contribute to M&A due diligence focused on data architecture and compliance
- Strengthen regulatory relationships through transparent data governance
- Guide the modernization of enterprise information infrastructure
- Align information strategy with long-term enterprise valuation and trust objectives
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive information management, data governance, or market data leadership
- 8+ years within financial markets infrastructure, exchanges, or highly regulated financial institutions
- Proven experience managing large-scale real-time data environments
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory reporting requirements
- Expertise in enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata architecture
- Experience integrating AI and advanced analytics into information ecosystems
- Demonstrated success leading global, distributed information teams
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Information Systems, Finance, or Data Science preferred
- Professional certifications in data governance or information security are preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Total Executive Compensation Package: $320,000 – $412,000 USD
