As Head of Technical Operations, you will lead the organization responsible for platform reliability, infrastructure modernization, operational excellence, system performance, and incident readiness. This role is central to ensuring uptime, advancing automation, driving engineering governance, and supporting innovation across the entire technology ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership: Oversee technical operations, infrastructure, cloud environments, and platform reliability across multiple global regions.
- Service Reliability: Lead SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering teams to ensure availability, performance, and operational resilience.
- Infrastructure Modernization: Drive initiatives around cloud migration, automation, monitoring, and system optimization.
- Incident & Crisis Management: Direct incident response protocols, root-cause investigations, and long-term remediation strategies.
- Operational Governance: Implement best practices for change management, release management, operational standards, and engineering workflows.
- Security Alignment: Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, audit readiness, and risk management.
- Technology Strategy: Support infrastructure planning, capacity forecasting, and long-range technical evolution.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, Security, and Customer Operations to align priorities and drive technical success.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor global operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Operations, including 4+ years in senior leadership.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation frameworks, monitoring tools, and enterprise infrastructure systems.
- Deep knowledge of high-availability architectures, distributed systems, system performance tuning, and observability.
- Experience leading global teams and managing mission-critical production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Proven success implementing modernization, transformation, or automation programs at scale.
- Strong understanding of incident management, disaster recovery, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering to support budgeting, capacity planning, and prioritization frameworks.
- Influence enterprise decision-making related to platform scalability, system architecture, and performance strategy.
- Guide strategic investments in infrastructure, monitoring, automation, and workforce capability building.
