The Senior Director of Learning & Development is responsible for designing and executing enterprise-wide learning strategies that align workforce capability with business priorities. This role leads leadership development, technical upskilling, and organizational learning initiatives while ensuring programs are scalable, measurable, and closely aligned with long-term enterprise strategy.

This position is ideal for a senior L&D leader who combines strategic vision, operational discipline, and deep expertise in modern learning ecosystems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise Learning & Development strategy aligned with business growth, transformation, and talent objectives.
  • Design and oversee leadership development programs for executives, senior leaders, and high-potential talent.
  • Build scalable learning frameworks supporting technical skills, professional development, and organizational capability.
  • Partner with HR, Business Leaders, and Operations to identify skill gaps and prioritize learning investments.
  • Oversee learning delivery models, including digital platforms, blended programs, and experiential learning initiatives.
  • Establish metrics and analytics to measure learning effectiveness, impact, and ROI.
  • Support change management and enablement efforts tied to new systems, processes, and operating models.
  • Manage external vendors, learning partners, and instructional design resources.
  • Develop and mentor L&D leaders and teams to strengthen execution and capability.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale learning and leadership development programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory, learning technologies, and digital learning platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation, reskilling, or workforce enablement initiatives.
  • Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and HR executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Learning, HR, Psychology, or Business preferred.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.

  • Provide insights on emerging learning trends, tools, and best practices.
