We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Program Management to lead enterprise program governance, oversee large-scale strategic initiatives, and build scalable program management frameworks that support the organization’s global technology programs.

This leadership role will ensure that complex enterprise programs are delivered successfully while aligning execution with long-term business strategy.


Job Function

The Senior Director of Program Management will lead the enterprise program management function responsible for overseeing complex multi-year initiatives, strategic technology deployments, and cross-functional transformation programs.

This executive will establish governance frameworks, program management standards, and operational processes that ensure the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) responsible for large-scale strategic initiatives.
  • Establish program governance frameworks ensuring successful execution of complex multi-year projects.
  • Oversee multiple cross-functional programs spanning product development, technology implementation, and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Develop program management methodologies, standards, and reporting structures across the organization.
  • Coordinate closely with executive leadership to align program execution with corporate strategic priorities.
  • Manage program portfolios, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and operational challenges impacting large enterprise programs.
  • Implement a performance dashboard tracking program for milestones, timelines, and budget performance.
  • Lead program review sessions with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee cross-functional coordination across engineering, product, operations, and client delivery teams.
  • Ensure programs are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with strategic business outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop senior program managers and PMO leadership teams across global operations.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in program management, portfolio management, or large-scale project leadership roles.
  • Significant experience managing enterprise technology programs or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading large program management offices (PMO) within global organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee complex, multi-year strategic programs across multiple departments.
  • Strong experience with program governance frameworks, risk management processes, and portfolio planning.
  • Proven ability to manage large cross-functional teams within technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership or board stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; MBA or program management certifications (PMP, PgMP) strongly preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote – United States
  • Periodic domestic and international travel for executive planning sessions and program leadership meetings (20–30%)

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $363,000 – $455,000 USD
