The Senior IT Project Manager drives the successful planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact enterprise technology projects. This includes managing cross-functional teams, aligning technical requirements with business outcomes, strengthening project governance, and ensuring consistent execution across multiple stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a seasoned IT project leader who excels in managing complexity, navigating matrixed environments, and applying structured methodologies to achieve predictable, high-quality delivery outcomes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects across infrastructure, applications, cloud, security, and digital transformation domains.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, risk registers, and communication frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams, business units, and leadership to maintain project visibility and accountability.
  • Oversee project governance, including reporting, escalation management, change control, and compliance adherence.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, product, and operations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, executive updates, and project status reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement across project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Lead vendor management activities for third-party tools, services, and technology partners.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management or Program Management within enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in cloud technologies, enterprise applications, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, or digital modernization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-phase technical projects.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or ITIL preferred.
  • Strong financial management skills, including project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven success working in matrixed, cross-functional, and globally distributed teams.

  • Align project outcomes with organisational goals, including scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology leadership to strengthen investment prioritization and portfolio management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery frameworks, operational efficiency, and risk controls.

Working Conditions

  • Remote-first role within the United States, with occasional travel for project workshops, onsite collaboration, or leadership meetings.
