Senior Manager of Product Management

Industry: Enterprise SaaS, AI-Enabled Software, Cloud Platforms, Product Intelligence, Workflow Automation, and Digital Transformation Technology
Location: USA Remote
Compensation Package: $309K – $415K

About the Organization

We are a large, enterprise-scale SaaS, AI-enabled software, cloud platform, product intelligence, workflow automation, and digital transformation technology organization serving enterprise customers across complex business environments. The company builds mission-critical digital products that help organizations modernize operations, automate workflows, improve decision-making, strengthen customer engagement, increase productivity, and scale enterprise performance through secure and intelligent technology platforms.

This is an organization where product management is not limited to feature tracking, backlog ownership, or routine roadmap updates. Product Management is treated as a strategic business function that connects customer needs, market opportunity, product vision, technical execution, data insights, commercial outcomes, and long-term platform growth. The company expects product leaders to understand customers deeply, define clear product direction, prioritize with discipline, and partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Security, and Executive Leadership.

The company is continuing to invest in AI-enabled product experiences, cloud-native platform capabilities, workflow automation, self-service tools, advanced analytics, customer intelligence, enterprise integrations, product-led growth, scalable user experiences, and stronger platform reliability. As the business expands, leadership is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management who can guide product strategy, lead product managers, improve roadmap discipline, and help translate business priorities into high-impact product outcomes.

The Senior Manager of Product Management will lead product planning and execution across one or more major product lines, platform areas, customer segments, or strategic product initiatives. This leader will be responsible for defining product priorities, managing product managers, improving discovery practices, aligning roadmaps with business goals, partnering with technical teams, and ensuring product investments deliver measurable customer and business value.

This role requires someone who can balance strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will know how to evaluate market signals, customer feedback, usage data, competitive dynamics, technical constraints, revenue opportunities, and operational impact before making product decisions. This person should be comfortable working across senior stakeholders, technical teams, customer-facing groups, and executive leadership.

The selected candidate will help build a more disciplined, customer-centered, and data-informed product organization. This includes improving product discovery, strengthening prioritization frameworks, supporting AI-enabled innovation, increasing roadmap visibility, improving release readiness, and developing product management talent. This is a strong opportunity for a product leader who wants to shape meaningful digital products inside a large technology company and influence how enterprise customers work, decide, and grow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy and execution across assigned product lines, platform areas, customer segments, or strategic product initiatives.

• Manage, coach, and develop product managers while building strong product discipline, customer focus, ownership, and accountability.

• Define product vision, roadmap priorities, success metrics, and execution plans in partnership with Product Leadership, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.

• Lead product discovery practices, including customer interviews, user research, workflow analysis, problem validation, opportunity sizing, competitive review, and solution exploration.

• Partner closely with Engineering and Design to define requirements, clarify user stories, prioritize technical tradeoffs, support delivery planning, and ensure product quality.

• Establish product prioritization frameworks that balance customer impact, revenue potential, technical feasibility, strategic alignment, risk, and resource capacity.

• Support AI-enabled product development by identifying use cases, evaluating customer value, aligning data requirements, and ensuring responsible product design.

• Monitor product performance through adoption metrics, usage trends, conversion data, customer feedback, retention signals, support issues, and business impact.

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer pain points, enterprise account needs, renewal risks, expansion opportunities, and market demand.

• Work with Product Marketing and Marketing teams to support launch planning, messaging, positioning, enablement materials, customer communication, and go-to-market readiness.

• Lead roadmap reviews, product planning sessions, executive updates, quarterly business reviews, release readiness discussions, and cross-functional alignment meetings.

• Identify product risks, delivery blockers, adoption gaps, customer friction, technical dependencies, and business tradeoffs, then recommend clear action plans.

• Build a culture of product excellence through improved documentation, decision-making discipline, measurable outcomes, customer empathy, and continuous learning.

• Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, prioritization, decision-making, and executive presentation skills.

Personal Capabilities and Qualifications

• Strategic product leader with the ability to connect customer needs, market opportunity, technology capability, business priorities, and product execution.

• High integrity and discretion when handling customer insights, product strategy, roadmap plans, pricing considerations, competitive intelligence, and executive materials.
