Industry: U.S. Global Semiconductor Manufacturing & Advanced Electronics Supply Network
Enterprise Operations Analytics | Reports to: Director of Global Supply Chain Strategy
Location: Remote – United States (with periodic site and supplier travel)
About the Organization
We are a U.S.-headquartered global semiconductor manufacturing and advanced electronics enterprise supporting AI processors, high-performance computing systems, automotive autonomy platforms, defense-adjacent microelectronics, and next-generation consumer technologies.
Our supply network spans wafer fabrication facilities, OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly & Test) partners, advanced materials suppliers, specialty chemicals manufacturers, precision component vendors, and global logistics corridors operating across Asia, Europe, and North America. Given long production cycles, capacity constraints, geopolitical sensitivities, and high capital intensity, supply chain analytics is central to protecting yield performance, inventory efficiency, and customer delivery commitments.
As global semiconductor demand accelerates and supply volatility persists, predictive modeling, risk intelligence, and real-time network optimization are mission-critical capabilities.
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategically oriented Senior Supply Chain Analyst to lead advanced modeling, scenario planning, performance analytics, and risk forecasting initiatives within our global supply chain organization.
This is not a reporting role. This is a data-driven supply chain intelligence mandate within one of the most complex industrial ecosystems in the world.
Job Function
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will design and deploy advanced analytical frameworks to optimize global sourcing, demand planning, inventory positioning, capacity utilization, and supplier performance across multi-site semiconductor operations.
This role bridges data science, operations strategy, procurement governance, and executive decision support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop predictive demand and supply models supporting wafer starts, component allocation, and finished goods availability.
- Conduct scenario analysis for capacity constraints, geopolitical risk exposure, and supplier disruption events.
- Design KPI dashboards tracking OTD (On-Time Delivery), cycle time, inventory turns, PPV, yield impact, and lead-time variability.
- Partner with procurement teams to build should-cost models and cost-variance forecasting frameworks.
- Lead network optimization studies to improve working capital efficiency and reduce excess inventory exposure.
- Integrate ERP, MES, and supplier portal data to deliver enterprise-grade reporting and real-time visibility tools.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on supply shortfalls, forecast variances, and production bottlenecks.
- Support executive-level business reviews through advanced analytics and data storytelling.
- Identify single-source dependencies and model dual-sourcing or near-shoring scenarios.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to align production schedules with material availability.
- Develop risk intelligence dashboards tied to global trade policies, tariff exposure, and regional supply risk.
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation, AI-driven forecasting, and data governance tools.
Strategic Support
- Advise the Director of Global Supply Chain Strategy on long-range capacity planning and capital allocation modeling.
- Support M&A due diligence through supply chain risk assessment and integration analysis.
- Contribute to ESG initiatives by modeling carbon footprint and sustainable sourcing scenarios.
- Align analytics frameworks with Industry 4.0 digital transformation initiatives.
- Strengthen supplier collaboration through data transparency and performance benchmarking.
- Guide digital dashboard modernization across enterprise analytics platforms.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, operations modeling, or strategic procurement analysis.
- 3+ years within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, electronics, or highly regulated industrial environments preferred.
- Advanced expertise in data modeling, statistical forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent), advanced Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience working with S&OP frameworks and global supplier ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
