As we expand production capacity across multiple giga-factory sites and integrate advanced robotics, digital twin manufacturing, and sustainable supply chain ecosystems, we are seeking a Senior Vice President, Operations, to lead enterprise-wide operational excellence at a global scale.

This is not a plant management role. This is a strategic, global operational leadership mandate.


Job Function

The Senior Vice President of Operations will oversee end-to-end global manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality systems, operational engineering, and production scalability across multiple international facilities.

This executive will drive operational efficiency, margin expansion, capacity growth, and sustainability performance while ensuring world-class safety, compliance, and quality standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead global manufacturing operations across a multi-giga-factory footprint
  • Drive production scale-up strategies to meet aggressive EV and battery output targets
  • Oversee global supply chain resilience, procurement strategy, and raw material sourcing
  • Implement lean manufacturing and advanced automation strategies across facilities
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, including AI-driven predictive maintenance and digital twin systems
  • Establish operational KPIs tied to cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability metrics
  • Optimize logistics and global distribution frameworks
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning for plant expansion and technology upgrades
  • Strengthen supplier performance management and strategic sourcing partnerships
  • Ensure adherence to global regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
  • Lead crisis management and operational risk mitigation strategies
  • Build and mentor high-performance regional operations leadership teams

Strategic Support

  • Align global operational roadmap with corporate growth and product launch timelines
  • Support market expansion into new geographic manufacturing hubs
  • Guide vertical integration strategies within battery and raw material ecosystems
  • Advise executive leadership on cost structure optimization and margin improvement
  • Contribute to M&A due diligence and operational integration planning
  • Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with carbon-neutral manufacturing commitments

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 18+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
  • 8+ years in executive-level roles within automotive, advanced manufacturing, energy storage, or industrial technology
  • Proven track record scaling multi-site manufacturing operations exceeding $5B+ in annual production value
  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced automation frameworks
  • Experience leading global supply chains with complex raw material sourcing
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale capacity expansion initiatives
  • Strong financial acumen and operational cost control expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Management required; MBA preferred
  • Executive-level certifications (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent) preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $310,000 – $420,000 USD
