The Senior Vice President of Program Management serves as the executive leader responsible for orchestrating multi-year transformation programs, enterprise portfolio governance, and cross-functional delivery excellence. This role oversees strategic program design, execution, risk governance, resource alignment, and measurement frameworks that support long-range business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end governance and execution of strategic programs across technology, product, operations, digital transformation, and enterprise platforms.
  • Oversee development of the enterprise program portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and long-term business outcomes.
  • Establish program delivery methodologies, governance models, risk frameworks, and performance dashboards for executive visibility.
  • Drive coordination across Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, Data, Security, and Customer teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Manage executive-level communication including program updates, milestone reporting, escalation management, and board-level summaries.
  • Monitor program health, dependencies, priorities, and resource allocation across complex, multi-team initiatives.
  • Strengthen organisational capability through best-practice frameworks, delivery tools, PMO maturity models, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Program Management organisation, supporting Director-level and senior PM leadership.
  • Ensure programs deliver measurable outcomes across timeline, budget, operational readiness, customer value, and enterprise performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate delivery efficiency, optimise resource utilisation, and improve cross-functional collaboration.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Program Management, Transformation Leadership, or cross-functional enterprise delivery roles.
  • Strong background in technology, cloud services, digital transformation, SaaS products, or large-scale organisational modernisation.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-year, multi-stakeholder programs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in program governance, portfolio management, resource planning, and performance measurement.
  • Proven track record in influencing senior executives and leading PM organisations at scale.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s, MBA, or executive leadership certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid delivery methodologies, and enterprise transformation frameworks.
  • Strong financial acumen, including program budgeting, forecasting, and ROI modelling.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive-level presentation skills.

  • Advise on investment prioritisation, resource allocation, and enterprise portfolio planning.
  • Provide insight on organisational capability, operational readiness, and transformation maturity.
  • Influence policy, governance, and long-range planning through data-driven recommendations.
