About the Role

In modern enterprises, technology operations is no longer a behind-the-scenes function. It is the operational backbone that ensures reliability, scalability, security, and performance across mission-critical systems. We are seeking a Technology Operations Manager to lead day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of enterprise technology operations in a highly complex, always-on environment.

This role is designed for a leader who understands how to translate technology strategy into stable, resilient operations. The Technology Operations Manager will oversee infrastructure operations, platform reliability, service delivery, incident response, and operational governance across cloud and on-premise environments.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Security, Product, and Business leaders to ensure technology platforms operate with high availability, predictable performance, and disciplined operational controls. Your mandate is to reduce operational risk, improve service quality, and enable scale without disruption.

This is not a helpdesk or tactical IT role. It is a mandate to run technology operations as a business-critical system that directly supports growth, customer trust, and enterprise continuity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise technology operations across infrastructure, platforms, and core systems
  • Oversee system availability, performance monitoring, and operational stability
  • Manage incident response, root-cause analysis, and service restoration processes
  • Establish and maintain operational standards, runbooks, and escalation models
  • Partner with the Engineering and Cloud teams on deployment and release readiness
  • Drive continuous improvement in uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Manage vendor performance, service contracts, and operational SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with security, risk, and governance requirements
  • Lead and develop technology operations and support teams
  • Provide executive reporting on operational performance and risk posture

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10 to 15 plus years of experience in technology operations, infrastructure, or IT service management
  • Proven success managing enterprise-scale technology environments
  • Strong background in cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, and service delivery
  • Experience with ITSM frameworks, incident management, and operational governance
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Engineering and Security teams
  • Strong analytical and operational problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications preferred
