We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Business Development to lead enterprise-level growth strategy, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships across our global ecosystem. This role is designed for an executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, someone who can inspire teams, shape market presence, and close transformative deals.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner with the CEO and C-suite to define market direction, expand our strategic alliances, and accelerate revenue diversification. The right leader will have a passion for innovation, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to turn complex opportunities into measurable business value.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a national and global business-development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify, structure, and negotiate large-scale partnerships, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business-development team focused on market expansion and client retention.
  • Drive pipeline generation through data-driven insights, strategic campaigns, and industry relationships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to position offerings for maximum market relevance.
  • Represent the company at global conferences, client meetings, and industry events to enhance brand equity.
  • Manage P&L for the business-development function, ensuring revenue targets and profitability goals are achieved.
  • Introduce metrics, dashboards, and forecasting tools that increase transparency and operational discipline.

Qualifications — What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development, sales strategy, or corporate partnerships, with at least 5 years in an executive-level role.
  • Proven success driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth in technology, consulting, or enterprise services industries.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with executive-level presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and build C-suite relationships.
  • Data-driven mindset and proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics).
  • Experience developing GTM strategies, M&A integration, and strategic partnerships.

Strategic Support

  • Work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer to define short- and long-term growth objectives.
  • Advise the executive board on competitive positioning, market forecasting, and strategic investments.
  • Partner with Product and Operations leadership to ensure that business-development goals align with innovation and delivery.
  • Serve as an organizational thought leader driving market insights, deal strategy, and partnership frameworks.
