We’re seeking an accomplished Vice President of Business Development to lead enterprise growth initiatives, drive strategic partnerships, and shape our company’s market expansion. This leader will play a pivotal role in steering the organization’s future through vision-driven strategy, revenue acceleration, and the cultivation of transformative client relationships.

As part of our executive leadership team, you’ll partner directly with the CEO, CFO, and Chief Strategy Officer to align go-to-market strategies with long-term corporate objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking strategist — someone who can inspire cross-functional collaboration, identify untapped markets, and turn innovative concepts into measurable business success.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Define and execute a national and global business development strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Lead high-impact sales and partnership initiatives, expanding enterprise accounts and driving revenue diversification.
  • Identify and secure key partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic alliances that strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape go-to-market frameworks, pricing strategies, and client segmentation models.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a team of business development professionals focused on performance, innovation, and results.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product divisions to craft compelling value propositions and client engagement campaigns.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring revenue targets and margin objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Represent the company at major industry events, conferences, and executive client forums, enhancing brand presence and credibility.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, guiding market expansion and customer success initiatives.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive business development and sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive role.
  • Proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth across B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise solutions industries.
  • Deep understanding of consultative selling, complex deal structuring, and executive-level relationship management.
  • Strong financial acumen experience with P&L oversight, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics) and business intelligence tools.

Strategic Support

  • Partner with C-suite executives to develop integrated growth strategies that align with the company’s 3-to-5-year vision.
  • Provide strategic insights on emerging markets, competitor analysis, and business model innovation.
  • Support operational leaders in driving collaboration between product, technology, and marketing teams to enable unified growth execution.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for cross-departmental initiatives that elevate client engagement and operational efficiency.

Working Conditions

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $256,000 – $366,000 + Annual Bonus + Long-Term Incentives
