The Vice President of Corporate Development serves as a key strategic leader responsible for evaluating growth opportunities, managing mergers and acquisitions, leading partnership strategies, and supporting enterprise expansion initiatives. This role partners closely with Executive Leadership across Strategy, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Product to build a sustainable, future-oriented growth roadmap.

This position is ideal for a senior corporate strategist with strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical capability, and a proven track record of leading complex transactions and structuring high-impact growth initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead corporate development strategy, including M&A, joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic investments.
  • Identify targets aligned with business objectives, market opportunities, and long-term competitive positioning.
  • Oversee deal lifecycle from market scanning, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, integration planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams to build financial models, synergy assessments, and investment theses.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level insights on market trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscape, and potential threats.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, and Technology leaders to evaluate opportunities for platform expansion and innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional integration teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Present proposals, financial reasoning, and strategic recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Strengthen internal frameworks and governance for evaluating and prioritizing strategic initiatives.
  • Build long-term corporate development capabilities, processes, and organizational maturity.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Private Equity, or M&A leadership roles.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution experience.
  • Proven track record supporting or leading mergers, acquisitions, investments, or enterprise partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of technology markets, SaaS business models, digital platforms, or innovation ecosystems.
  • Ability to present complex strategic and financial concepts to senior executives with clarity and precision.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Partner with Product and Technology leaders to accelerate digital innovation and platform growth.
  • Provide oversight and risk analysis to support informed, high-impact decision-making.
