As the Vice President of Financial Operations, you will oversee mission-critical financial workflows including billing operations, FP&A integration, audit readiness, cross-functional finance alignment, cash-flow optimization, and corporate controls. You will be a key partner to executive leadership—driving financial performance, operational resiliency, and enterprise scaling initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations Leadership: Oversee all financial operations functions including billing, AR/AP, cash flow, revenue operations, treasury support, and financial controls.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance financial workflows, automation, and internal control systems to increase accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Reporting: Manage financial reporting dashboards, forecasting systems, variance analyses, and operational KPIs for senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, HR, and Business Unit leaders to ensure financial integrity across the enterprise.
  • Risk & Compliance: Oversee audit processes, internal control enhancements, SOX readiness, regulatory compliance, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
  • Technology & Automation: Lead modernization of financial systems through automation, ERP enhancements, and data-driven process improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop global financial operations teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Executive-Level Support: Prepare strategic presentations, Board materials, budget updates, and performance insights for C-Suite leaders.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Financial Operations, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Treasury, or Financial Management, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Strong background in technology, financial services, enterprise operations, or large global organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, compliance frameworks, and auditing standards.
  • Proven experience improving financial processes using automation, analytics, or workflow optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-function, multi-location teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.

  • Partner with technology leaders to evolve financial systems and implement automation-enabled processes.
  • Influence corporate governance around compliance, financial controls, and enterprise standards.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that align financial performance with organizational growth.

Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $235,000 – $295,000
