Financial Operations plays a central role in how organisational decisions are supported, how forecasting is structured, and how internal financial processes maintain quality and accountability. We emphasise clarity, accuracy, cross-functional integration, and continuous improvement to strengthen financial effectiveness across the organisation.
The Vice President of Financial Operations will oversee multi-team financial processes, lead operational enhancements, strengthen governance practices, and support strategic initiatives across the business. This role requires strong leadership experience, structured decision-making, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across financial reporting, accounting workflows, revenue management, and operational finance.
- Develop financial operations frameworks that support consistency, accuracy, and long-range stability.
- Oversee forecasting cycles, planning models, and financial performance indicators.
- Manage financial operations teams, including billing, AR/AP, cost control, and financial systems support.
- Build reporting structures and dashboards to provide clear visibility into key financial metrics.
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, Legal, Technology, and Business units to align on financials and integrate processes.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance processes, and audit readiness.
- Guide system upgrades, automation adoption, and financial technology enhancements.
- Manage financial risk assessment, scenario planning, and operational performance reviews.
- Provide structured communication to executive leadership on financial status, risks, and opportunities.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Financial Operations, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Operational Finance roles.
- Experience in medium-to-large organisations with complex financial structures.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting standards, and operational governance.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, financial analytics tools, and workflow automation systems.
- Proven experience managing multi-team functions across financial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline required.
- Advanced qualifications (MBA, CPA, CFA) are beneficial.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
