Vice President of Product Operations

We are seeking a Vice President of Product Operations to lead the operational backbone of our product organization, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across a fast-moving product portfolio. This executive will build and mature the frameworks, processes, tools, and operating rhythms that support high-performing product teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with a strong sense of structure, exceptional business judgment, and the ability to connect high-level product strategy with day-to-day execution.

This role provides the opportunity to shape how multi-billion-dollar product lines are planned, delivered, measured, and scaled. You will oversee cross-functional workflows, ensure product quality and continuity, and partner closely with leaders in Product, Technology, Design, Finance, Data, and Operations to support product excellence across the enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide Product Operations strategy across multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
  • Build and mature the operational foundation of the product organization, including roadmap governance, cross-team workflows, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Establish strong product lifecycle management (PLM) processes to ensure consistent execution from concept to launch to growth.
  • Drive the operating rhythm for product planning cycles, including quarterly planning, OKRs, KPI reporting, and performance reviews.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leaders to ensure product teams operate efficiently, collaboratively, and with clear accountability.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level analytics and dashboards that measure product health, performance, and customer outcomes.
  • Oversee product release operations, readiness reviews, and alignment with go-to-market, customer success, and operations teams.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions that elevate product team productivity and delivery velocity.
  • Optimize cross-functional communication to align product strategy, engineering capacity, financial constraints, and operational realities.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing Product Operations team, developing future leaders and elevating organizational maturity.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Program Management, or Strategy roles within Technology or SaaS companies.
  • 5+ years leading large, cross-functional operational teams in a complex, high-growth environment.
  • Strong expertise in product lifecycle management, product strategy alignment, and enterprise operational planning.
  • Proven experience building product metrics, dashboards, and analytics frameworks for executive visibility.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, product development workflows, and engineering team structures.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience collaborating on budgeting, investment planning, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership, product executives, and engineering leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced technical/business degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the Technology, SaaS, or Financial Services industries is required for success.

  • Provide executive insights on product performance, operational bottlenecks, resource gaps, and strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Support enterprise-level transformation initiatives that impact product strategy, platform modernization, and market expansion.
  • Strengthen cross-functional integration with Finance, Engineering, Data, Legal, Operations, and GTM teams.
  • Lead organizational change-management initiatives to ensure adoption of operational frameworks.

Working Conditions

  • Executive role operating within a large, multi-product, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Remote/Hybrid U.S. role with periodic travel to leadership meetings, product summits, and cross-team workshops.
  • Requires flexibility across time zones and consistent collaboration with distributed teams.
  • High-visibility position with direct interaction with C-suite leaders, executive committees, and global product teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Range: $280,000 – $349,000 USD
(includes base salary, executive bonus, and long-term incentive packages)
