The Vice President of Program Management will serve as the enterprise orchestrator of mission-critical initiatives, overseeing large-scale program delivery and ensuring alignment between corporate strategy, execution, and long-term value creation. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer and engaging regularly with the CEO and Board, this role will set the standard for program governance, performance measurement, and delivery excellence.

This is not a traditional project oversight position it is an opportunity to shape global program portfolios, enable digital transformation, and build operational frameworks that become a competitive differentiator.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Direct enterprise-wide programs across technology, operations, and corporate strategy.
  • Governance & Accountability: Establish program governance models, frameworks, and reporting systems to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all programs directly align with corporate priorities, customer outcomes, and shareholder value.
  • Innovation in Delivery: Introduce advanced methodologies (Agile-at-scale, hybrid delivery, digital PMO models).
  • Risk Management: Anticipate risks, manage escalations, and maintain program resilience.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide transparent updates to CEO, C-level leaders, and the Board of Directors.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Drive collaboration across Operations, Technology, Finance, HR, and Product functions.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and grow program managers into enterprise-ready leaders.

Qualifications – What We Are Looking For

  • 18+ years of experience in program management, portfolio leadership, or enterprise transformation, with 8+ years at the executive level.
  • Proven track record leading multi-billion-dollar programs in Fortune 500 or multinational organizations.
  • Expertise in enterprise program governance, portfolio prioritization, and complex change management.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile, Lean Portfolio Management, and PMO transformation frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Program Management strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate with global scale, across multiple industries and geographies.

Strategic Support

The Vice President of Program Management acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CTO, and Board, ensuring programs become an engine of transformation and growth. Contributions include:

  • Aligning program portfolios with corporate vision, capital strategy, and market expansion.
  • Supporting M&A integration by orchestrating cross-functional program execution.
  • Embedding ESG and sustainability commitments into enterprise programs.
  • Positioning program management as a competitive advantage for customer success and enterprise resilience.

Working Conditions
