Location: USA Remote
Compensation Package: $440K – $520K

About the Organization

We are a large, enterprise-scale SaaS, AI-enabled technology, cloud platform, financial systems, corporate governance, audit readiness, and digital finance transformation organization supporting complex revenue models, enterprise customers, global vendor relationships, distributed teams, multi-entity accounting structures, technology investments, and high-growth business operations across the United States. The company operates in a fast-moving digital environment where accounting leadership directly influences financial integrity, reporting quality, investor confidence, audit readiness, compliance discipline, business scalability, operational decision-making, and long-term enterprise value.

This is not a traditional accounting leadership role focused only on month-end close, journal entries, or standard financial reporting. The Chief Accounting Officer will serve as a senior enterprise finance executive responsible for building a strong accounting foundation that supports scale, transparency, governance, and executive decision-making. This role will connect technical accounting, financial reporting, revenue recognition, internal controls, accounting operations, audit management, tax partnership, financial systems, policy governance, and finance transformation into one disciplined accounting strategy.

The company is continuing to invest in financial systems modernization, AI-enabled accounting workflows, close process automation, revenue accounting maturity, internal controls, technical accounting governance, audit readiness, financial data quality, multi-entity reporting, equity administration partnership, procurement-to-pay improvement, order-to-cash process optimization, and stronger finance operating discipline. As the organization grows, leadership is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer who can bring executive presence, technical depth, operational rigor, audit confidence, and strong cross-functional partnership to a highly visible role.

The Chief Accounting Officer will lead accounting strategy and execution across corporate accounting, technical accounting, revenue recognition, financial reporting, accounting operations, close management, internal controls, audit coordination, policy development, tax partnership, treasury partnership, financial systems, and finance process improvement. This executive will partner closely with the CFO, CEO, Board, Audit Committee, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, Procurement, HR, IT, Data Analytics, external auditors, tax advisors, and Executive Leadership to ensure accounting practices support business priorities and regulatory expectations.

This role requires a leader who understands how accounting supports a large, technology-driven enterprise. The ideal candidate will know how to improve close quality, strengthen controls, manage audit expectations, lead technical accounting decisions, support complex revenue models, modernize accounting processes, build high-performing teams, and communicate financial matters clearly to senior executives and Board-level stakeholders.

The selected candidate will help shape a more mature, scalable, and technology-enabled accounting organization. This includes improving reporting reliability, strengthening policy governance, supporting systems transformation, increasing process automation, reducing manual risk, improving audit readiness, and ensuring accounting operates as a strategic partner to the broader finance and business organization.

This is a high-impact executive opportunity for an accounting leader who wants to build enterprise-grade accounting infrastructure, strengthen financial governance, lead complex reporting environments, and help a large technology company scale with accuracy, discipline, and confidence.
